Our Process

The process begins by identifying what the financial objectives are for you, your family, and your business. Many people have a broad sense of what they hope to accomplish, but often lack the knowledge regarding the specific investment vehicles that can best help them realize their goals.

We respect how hard you worked to build your net worth, and before we recommend anything, we get to know you. We feel one of the most important tenets of the investment process are portfolio construction and risk management. We ask questions to access your risk tolerance, your goals and needs, your expenses, your health, your family commitments and more—to better understand what you need your money to accomplish. This enables us to recommend a personalized portfolio designed with the goal to meet your needs and to help you enjoy the retirement you’ve earned.

We build diversified, low-cost portfolios across asset classes, strategies, and market caps. For the equity portion of your portfolio, we begin with a bedrock of broadly diversified index funds, surrounded by fund managers that have a track record of beating their benchmarks and then when appropriate individual stocks we believe offer additional alpha. By sharing our knowledge and experience, we can help you match your unique financial goals to the specific investments and strategies necessary to address them. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.

In addition, if requested, we can perform a review of your current assets and legal documents and assess your progress toward your goals. While most people have done some planning, it's advantageous for all components to be coordinated with each other so that the entire plan works in harmony. Depending on your individual situation, we may mail you a confidential profile to complete and request that you provide copies of your most recent investment and bank statements.

Once there is an understanding of where you are now and your goals for the future, Tollerene Investment Management will present appropriate options, so you can make an informed decision. When required, we will work in coordination with your attorney and accountant to assist with implementing your plan. Tollerene Investment Management and LPL Financial do not provide legal advice or services. Please consult your legal advisor regarding your specific situation.

Once the initial planning process is complete, we will continue to monitor and adjust your portfolio as needed. To request additional information about our services, we invite you to call our office, send an email, or click here to get started, and we will follow up with a personal call.

However, it is sometimes possible for us to help you find a cost basis. So please call if you have any questions.

We can assist you in making your annual IRA contribution if you have earned income. These contributions can be made up to April 15th of the previous year.

IRA Minimum Contributions:

Most companies will calculate minimum distributions for you when you are 70-1/2 years old. The distributions can be taken monthly, quarterly, or annually. All requests must be in writing.
